Dolen connects every answer to the ones crossing it. Solve one word and you don’t just move on: you change what’s knowable about every word touching it.
Guess one word at a time. Each letter comes back correct, in the wrong spot, or absent: familiar feedback for any word-guessing puzzle. The difference is what happens next: a confirmed letter appears automatically in every word it crosses, so solving one answer changes what you know, and what’s still possible, everywhere it touches the grid.

What makes it a crossword, not a word list
Confirm a letter in one word, and it’s instantly revealed in every other word that crosses that cell. Solving one answer doesn’t just finish that entry: it reshapes what’s still possible everywhere else it touches the grid.
You can still test a crossing cell with a different guess without disturbing what’s already confirmed elsewhere. In Challenge mode, a word that runs out of guesses is revealed automatically, shown with a dashed outline so it reads differently from letters you actually earned.
Choose from three grid sizes (Small, Medium, and Large) and two difficulties, from all-5-letter Standard grids to Expert grids with mixed word lengths. Relaxed play removes the attempt limit and gives unlimited hints; Challenge caps you at a set number of guesses and hints per word for a sharper test. A daily streak, stats, and an archive of past puzzles round it out.
